Good evening to you
Following the recent successful appointment of a new Secretary and Treasurer for 381 the Club needs to forge forward to ensure its success. We are inviting members like you, who have already expressed their interest in helping 381, to come and join us at the Club on Tuesday evening at 6pm. I do apologise for the extremely short notice for this invitation.
It is an informal meeting for those attending to put forward ideas and hopefully take responsibility for specific tasks. Do take time to look at some of the things the Club needs help with in the attached document. We have more ideas coming in all the time, and more than happy to hear any ideas you may have.
Hope you can make it. Should you not be able to make it on this occasion, hopefully you might be available for our follow up meeting, date to be confirmed.

381 Club Crew
The 381 Club Volunteers needed to “Own” tasks;
Fundraising - to include Grants, Room hire – local businesses, funeral directors/wake, local community. New members, Retention of existing membership.
Marketing Club to the local community - both Social media and other General marketing to the local community and membership.
Sports Programme - Organise and run a Sports programme for TV in our Function room.
Activities - Coordination of existing activities/ finding new income producing activities to implement on quieter days e.g. men’s darts.
Maintenance – Arrange an coordinate Volunteer groups for updating/painting of Club premises.
Volunteer groups - Coordinate and run volunteer groups e.g. door duties, raffles, running events,
Talks/Films - To arrange regular talks/film afternoons.
Entertainment – In particular to look at Friday, Saturday and Sundays – all day including evenings. Where no live entertainment on a Saturday evening to plan alternatives which are less costly. Look at whole day e.g. Saturday Sport TV afternoon, Strictly come dancing TV etc early evening, Evening live/other entertainment.
Diary Management – overseeing daily/weekly/monthly. Change dates/times where it makes sense e.g. Bingo on a Thursday afternoon, then a Friday evening and no Bingo the following week. Does not make sense!
Member communications – Regular member newsletter email, Produce Weekly/monthly programmes of events to send to membership.
